The OpticSlim 2420+ is capable of scanning A4-size documents at optical resolution of 1200 dpi and is power cord free. It uses a USB 2.0 High Speed connection, acquiring power from the computer. Moreover, USB 2.0 High Speed offers faster data delivery, up to 4 times faster than a USB 1.1 interface.

The lid uses specially designed hinges, a feature which is ideal for thick books and 3D object scanning.
